Grammarly Review for 2021

As a professional writer, I know what a human writer can bring.

However, I always use Grammarly on a regular basis to reread everything I post on this blog. I'm already pretty good at grammar and English rules, but it's surprising how hard-hitting and small errors can fit into anyone's writings.

So what is Grammarly? Is it worth it? And can it replace the need for a human editor or editor?

I answer these and many other questions in my review of Grammarly below.

This article is bulky because I wanted to be as complete as possible. If you're in a hurry, use the materials table to move directly to the sections you're most interested in.

No matter what type of writing you do - professional writing, casual writing, leisure writing - Grammarly can help you improve your emails, social media posts, blogs, and official documents.

In saying this, I think the following people can benefit the most from using Grammarly:

  1. Students
  2. Bloggers
  3. Content marketers and copywriters
  4. Business writers and professionals who want to draft an accurate report, presentation, or email.

It all depends on your message
Here's the hard truth: writing is sharing a message, and the better you write, the clearer you can convey your message.
If people have trouble understanding the nuances of your message - whether it's university graduation, a business proposal or even a simple tweet - they'll have a hard time understanding you.

Your writing is you
Nowadays, much of what we say and do is online.
I cannot overemphasize the number of times that intelligent and professional people have been perceived negatively simply because they did not know how to reread and verify their published words.
Why look in the wrong light when you have access to a simple online tool?

Why not?
And the simplest: why not?
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by improving your writing with a little help from Grammarly. Increase the impact of everything you say by saying it the right way.

Thus, a powerful online grammatical corrector is potentially a great way for writers to ensure that their work is clear and error-free. However, although Grammarly is very good, it is not perfect.

In this review of Grammarly, I will explain in more detail some of its pros and cons, as well as how to make the most of Grammarly.
The 3 reasons why I always recommend Grammarly
Let's start with the benefits, and why I always recommend Grammarly to my friends and family.

1. You don't need to be a computer ace
It may be 2019, but some people are still scoundreling at the word "software" (there's a reason we switched to the word "application").
Most of us just don't want to worry about something extra, and prefer to stick to what we already know than incorporate something new into our routines.
I understand.

But Grammarly is not like most other software. As complex and advanced as Grammarly can be, it has an incredibly simple user interface and user experience. You could teach it to your grandparents and they would use it in an hour.
There are several ways to use Grammarly (which we explore in more detail below),

including:
The browser extension
The Grammarly Web Tool
The downloadable desktop app
Microsoft Word's add-on
The mobile app

This means that after a few clicks, you can use Grammarly the way you want: copy and paste your text in the online tool or desktop app, or simply let Grammarly's pop-ups and correction lines appear naturally in your browser or Microsoft Word while you write.
And believe me, I briefly played with other online grammar editors, like ProWritingAid and Ginger, and Grammarly is the easiest to use.
As an editor, there's nothing better than knowing that I can recommend to people to install an intuitive and easy tool that will make their life (and mine) easier.

How much does Grammarly cost?

Is Grammarly free?

GRAMMARLY - Évaluation du correcteur d'ortographe gratuit

Yes, the use of Grammarly can be free.

One of the things I like about Grammarly is that you can use it without paying anything. The free version of Grammarly has no restrictions, which means you can use it indefinitely without any limit or trial period.

And as I explain below, the free version of Grammarly is actually pretty good.

However, to unlock all of Grammarly's features, you'll need to switch to Grammarly Premium.

The current price of Grammarly Premium is:

Grammarly Review: The Best Free Online English Grammar Checker

$11.66 per month when you pay annually ($139.95 in total).

$19.98 per month for a quarterly payment

$29.95 per month for a monthly payment.

(There is also a Grammarly Business option that costs $15 per user per month for annual billing. This option offers you everything that is included in Grammarly Premium with an administration panel, statistics for your team, etc.)
